The World

THE WORLD HISTORY The spirit worlds had become saturated. Full of old souls that had lost all sense of being. They fought among each other for power while young souls where consumed in this infection that just kept growing. An infection that after thousands of years turned into a cancer, eating and destroying world. A few tried to change the world but would always be consumed by the sickness, not until one Shinigami named Okamura appeared. His power was great, and his sense of manipulation even greater, and he was tired of this filthy and sick world. He thought it was to late to change things, as the sickness of the Soul Society and Hueco Mundo had infested the very core of their existences. So he sought power; and he found it. You see, Okamura had an power to manipulate the mind of people, he could change peoples memories at will. But it was just people, not the world. However much he wanted to change the world, would he not be able to. Not until he became a being greater than a god. How he reached such power is unknown, though many suspect he absorbed souls of billions to gain such power. And with this power he gained, would he achieve his goal. To purge the world of souls. It was as if the world forgot all souls; shinigami and hollows equally was purged from their worlds. And so, was there just a clean slathe in Soul Society and Hueco Mundo. New souls would be born and build a new world, free from the sickness that once plagued it. That was 500 years ago, and ruins still exist after the purge, and its from those ruins that we have learned about Okamura and what he did. On the ruins and the clean slathe, have a new Soul Society and Hueco Mundo been built, with new souls filling the world. Free, to make it a better world than it was before. AFTER THE PURGE It have been 500 years since Okamura made the Purge of the world of souls, and so have been an obvious chaotic time. With new souls arriving and no old ones to handle them, did fights and wars quickly escalate for power. Under the first 200 years was it a total war among 15 different factions seeking to gain power, until they where united under one banner by the former Division 4 captain, Yamamoto Sakura. She was one of few shinigamis that survived the Purge, as she had been in the human world and not affected by the purge. The factions where formed as the Divisions of the newly formed Gotei, though they would keep fighting within and assassinations where common in a political game of gain and power. Under the next 250 years do the power struggle go on, and there have been multiple attempts to murder Sakura though so far no one succeeded. The last 50 years have been the calmest, and somewhat peaceful, though you can feel the tension as if something chaotic is brewing beneath the surface, ready to explode at any moment. Meanwhile in Hueco Mundo have Hollows arrived to an even emptier wasteland. Though not completely empty; there was still items thats survived the purge and it would transform some of the hollows to arrancars. They now rule the Hueco Mundo, and among hollows is also a unique spirit race known as Orcasi. While the arrancar re-create the Espada, is there a constant struggle for power, and many arrancar dont survive for long duo the fighting.
