Personality
Above all, he is patient, not only with himself but to others as well. He can be known to fade into the background, quietly watching and observing those around him. Even in conversation he'll nod and interject when appropriate, but he is always patiently learning the mannerisms, characteristics, and motives of those around him. After which he'll carefully construct the most appropriate persona for which to interact with them as necessary. This trait has allowed him to gauge the reactions and respond appropriately to the people around him, letting their assumptions, and perceptions become truth. If others are too blind to see the reality before their eyes, then he is quite content to let them continue on living in that illusionary world.
Kenshin is also a capable leader. he is capable of making decisions on his feet. He always acts in what he thinks is best for the force, and doesn't risk others without cause. History:
Early Years
Little is known of his living life more than that he was a Martial artist and swords master in ancient japan. He was killed by a vastro lorde class hollow and spent about a decenium wandering around as a plus. During this time he kept developing the skills he had possessed when he was living and somehow managed to elude both soul society and hollows as he kept hunting for his murderer. During his journey to kill the hollow that had slay him he killed several others that stood in his path.
This got the shinigamis attention since the hollows killed by him wasn't purged, at first they thought it was a quincy that had come out of hiding, They set up a trap they waited in a area with high spiritual activity till hollows appeared, imagine their surprise when they noticed that it wasn't a quincy but a mere plus that killed the hollows. After he had disposed of the hollows they approached him with the purpose of questioning him and then preform soul burial. Something they soon discovered wouldn't be a easy task. the captain that accompanied them managed to bind kenshin after a long and hard fight and after using a rather cheap trick throwing a binding kidou at kenshin.
They talked for a while and kenshin got a offer. Get soul burial and if he came to soul society he would have a place at the academy. Kenshin Declined saying he had something he had to take care of first and to everyone's surprise he used raw strength to break out of the kidou and completely vanish. His search for that particular hollow continued for a decade. Remembering what the captain had told him and refrained from killing hollows unless it was absolutely not necessary. It took him along time but he managed to hunt down and kill the hollow that slayed him, after that he accepted the captains offer and was sent to soul society through soul burial.
[b]Academy years[/b]
Kenshin woke up in soul society remember everything of his previous life and headed on his own accord to the gotei 13 standing outside the gates saying that he had come to join the academy as he had been promised. At first the gate guardian thought it was a joke and laughed at him but then he noticed the serious aura from kenshin. Strangely enough it took almost three weeks before anyone noticed kenshin due to that gate being very little used. During this time he and the gate guardian had become very close friends.
When he finally was discovered and got to join the academy the teachers soon noticed that kenshin was a quick learner the few things he didn’t know already he learned in surprisingly short time. And he finished top of his class in zanjutsu and even the seniors, he did however lack greatly in kidou. When he graduated the academy in only a years time everyone was certain he would join the 11th squad due to his zanjutsu skills. And they where wrong instead he joined the 8th squad.

Kenshin quickly advanced in the ranks of the 8th squad and had soon became the lieutenant. He also spent alot of time at the 2nd squad always eager to learn new things, and with 11th to train his zanjutsu and weapon skills
Well long story short recently when the old captain died during a mission he was appointed the new captain of 8th squad. He also still trying to retain friendly connections to both 11th and 2nd squad and have his squad members train with them to improve their hakuda and zanjutsu

Appearance: Marcus do not wear the standard Shinigami attire, in fact i don´t wear any black at all that the shinigami are known for. He appears to be a man in his mid-twenties, wearing a red coat of a uniform inspired by both ancient rome and a more modern style of clothing with golden buttons over a white shirt, a pink tie, shoulder pads, and a white skirt. However, his most defining trait is the fact that he is extremely overweight with a huge potbelly and a very rounded almost hamster like, puffy and round face, he is always seen wearing a corona obsidionalis ("grass crown") on his head.
He has sharp, angular eyebrows, short wild, slicked back, chestnut brown hair and beautiful emerald green eyes, he wears several gold rings on both hands and wears an old style sandals or footwear. While most of the time he don´t wear his captain haori, on special occasions where he needs to show his authority as a captain he has the haori attached to one of his shoulderpads like a mantle/cape.
Personality: A glutton, a perverted leecher, a lazy, arrogant sentient piece of lard many have described Marcus as, mostly seen either sneaking a peak at woman bathing or stuffing his face or simply sleeping the days away, no one can understand how such a worthless person became a captain, however every attempt to dethrone him has failed miserably, through well thought out logic, charisma and especially when they have challenge him to combat where he soundly crushed his opponents.
In truth, despite his pervertness and apperant laziness he is a very skilled warrior as well as tactician using his rotund, outward apperance to throw off his opponents, for in actuality he trains vigorously and franticly in alone secret. Within the walls of his barracks he leads the 11th division with a surprisingly stern hand as in the past the squad has been a loose cannon, a ragtag bunch of scoundrels who thirst for battle and glory, and while he will not deny them of this nature, being part of who they are as well as a strength in each indivudual which he gladly will nuture to become an asset for Gotei 13, he has also seen it as their weakness when each man grabs for glory trampling over others and becomering a hinderence for other squads unity in a crisis. It has such become his duty to instill some well deseved diciplin into the squad forcing them to to a certain amount of drills and exercises each day both to keep their skills as well as make them learn self control and teamwork but also assuring them that there will be glory and combat.
While he has absolutely no qualms getting his hands dirty personally, in fact he revels in it being just as battle hungry as his squad, he has tempered himself, controling his insticts to back up so he see the full, bigger picture so he can strike where it REALLY HURTS, he can act snobby, arrogant and pompous at times refering himself as a powerful, handsome lion and a great military leader, even perverted to female shinigami´s for yes who can resist a beautiful woman? but deep down he is confident, brave, clever and resourceful.
Being a soul who originated in the human world, no matter the era, he is very curious at the going-ons in the human realm and is quite fascinated by the modern world and technology and how humans has evolved since he was alive, therefore he will use any excuse he can get to enter the living world, collecting trinkets and souvenir as he goes, curiously examinating any object that catches his eye.
Background.
Before Soul Society: Few know where Marcus came from before he entered Soul Society, some say that he was among the first of the new human souls that was allowed into the new soul society after the purge. Other says he just appeared one day, strutting towards the walls of Sereitei demanding to be made a Shinigami, claiming to be one of Rome´s greatest generals, after some skepticism as well as analysis of his spirutal power he was allowed into the academy to train.
Training and becoming a Shinigami: Mearly a few years had passed before Marcus had passed with flying colors even though he was often mocked and ridiculed by other students for his physicue he became near top of his class while weak in kido his prowess in hand to hand combat as wwll as swordplay as stunned both students and teachers as well as his sharp mind.
Abilities.
Spirutual Awareness: Even before his arrival in Soul Society Marcus was a sensitive child with a keen eye able to see spirits, at graves, at ruined villages, on the countryside who had died of famine, conflict and illness. Master Strategist and Tactician: Since childhood during his training he did not just mearly train his body and swordplay he also trained his mind, he has studied conquerors of old and their strategies & tactics and hold a sharp mind able to come up with complex strategies on the fly.
Great Spiritual Power: Being of Captain rank as well as vigorously training himself he has achived am impressive amount of spiritual power, though he rarely displays it keeping it under wraps only use it briefly to dicipline troops who disobey and disobey them.
Master Hand-to-Hand-Combat: Despite his plump figure he is deadly quick, agile and powerful and even without his zanpaktou he fight ferociously delivering punches and kicks with enough strength and precision to damage internal organs with a glancing blow, he is also a master at grappling opponents forcing them to yield.

Name: Hyakujuou 百獣の王 ("King of Beasts")
Form: Takes the form of a small sword with a cut off, square shaped blade like it was snapped off leaving it almost as short as a dagger, it hangs from his waist in a long cloth band in front of him. It has a deep maroon sheath and golden yellow handle wrapping with a simple handguard.
Shikai: By raising the sword above his head and uttering the command: "conquer, Hyakujuou! 百獣の王 ("King of Beasts")" The blade is infused with energy, glowing and taking the shape of a one handed, gladius shortsword about 60 cm (24 inches in length) with a long point that´s great for stabbing with a slight leaf shape to the edges, the handguard looks like a snarling lion, the handle groved and adapted for one hand and a solid rounded and compact pommel.
Shikai Ability: Hyakujuou´s ability is very simple in its execution, it boost marcus physical abilities bringing them beyond their peak strength, speed, agility, reaction, endurance and might doubling them and maybe even triple. It also capable of turning his body more muscular and fit with hard, well defined, compact muscles and many has stared in awe and shock as this plumb, rotund fatso turn into what can only be described as a perfect roman statue.
This is also amplified by Marcus own fighting style that combines a mix of "Hakuda" 白打 ("Hand-to-hand combat") and swordplay holding the sword in his left hand using punches, kicks, armlocks, slashes, thrusts and other techniques in an impeccable rythm together with superhuman strength.
Unique Techniques.
Jūouken 獣王拳 ("Beast-King Fist") Marcus signature hakuda technique where he, with superhuman strength and speed boosted by his shikai punches into the air igniting the reishi in the air and sending out a flaming "punch" in the shape of a lions head with enough force to smash trough several walls as well as setting the target on fire.
Hyakujūken 百獣拳 ("Hundred Beasts Fist") A rapid fire version of his normal Beast-King Fist where he throws multiple punches in rapid sucession resulting in a hundred lion-faced attacks, due to the times he has trained throwing punches and the boost from his shikai the attacks might look like they come out of nowhere in an instance due to the speed of the punches.

Bankai: Sekaiseiha Hyakujuou 世界制覇 百獣の王 ("World Conquest King of Beasts") After activation his body is covered in a ornate roman style armour with a metal cuirass over his chest that looks like a lion, shoulder guards, armbands, a skirt armour of leather to prockect his thighs, shin guards and a plumed centurion helmet as well as a red flowing cape on his back. His sword becomes a bit more ornate but does not change much in apperance.
Bankai Ability: Much like his shikai It boosts his physique greatly, yet to a much, much higher degree, becoming more condensed and focused but also gives him greater defensive powers making him more resilient against attacks, he can also freely summon a roman scutum shield which is a large, rectangular, semi-cylindrical shield about as tall as Marcus himself at will as well as dismiss it at will, he can also summon a pilum javelin to hit an enemy from afar, while he rarely uses it its an essencial weapon for a roman.

Jukkei 術計 ("Strategem"): Cuneum (Latin for "Wedge") A command that that makes the legionares stand in a wedge formation concentrating in the middle to break trough enemy lines rushing down the enemy mercilessly.

Personality: Sayuri is an arrogant, proud and cocky individual who is eager & hungry for battle and violence and makes no attempts to mask it and often wears a smug grin on her face. She has an unshakeable confidence in herself and her abilities and also a surprisingly sharp mind even though she might look reckless at first she is always planning ahead a few steps at a time, however sometimes her arrogance do get ahead of her making her slip up and make misstakes.
In the past while she still had some arrogance she was more of a team player and enjoyed the company of others untill she was betrayed, she now hold a deep seated grudge against soul society and those who subjugated her to hollowfication and left her to die, her own commrades. As such she trust no shinigami and will never reveal her heart to anyone, she has chosen to become as heartless as an oni, filled with bitterness and hatred being more sarcastic and spiteful.
She has grown pretty accustomed to the human realm and enjoy multiple kinds of music and in fascinated with musical instrument, especially electric ones, she has no real friends as she refuses to open her heart to anyone but tries her best to stay on good terms with all of her neighbours living in Karakura town even though she has gotten in trouble quite a few times being mistaken as a Yakuza member.
Appearance: Sayuri is a well endowed, fair skinned woman with her age seemingly at late 20´s or early 30´s with short, wild, fuzzy fiery red hair and deep scarlet eyes. She has thin black eyebrows and a sharp nose, large breasts, slightly broad shoulder, a nice plump ass and long slender legs. Clothing wise she is mostly seen donning a black shirt with a red criss-cross plaid/tartan pattern with a purple necktie with a simple white jacket over it as well as a matching pair of white pants with a black belt and black shoes. She has a black leather choker around her neck as well as a pair of golden earrings. Abilities.
Rhythm sense: A renowned taiko drummer in her youth as well being a lover of music and different kinds of musical instruments she has a keen sense of rhythm and tact, this has further helped her master her shikai, drawing out 100% of its power.

Immense Spiritual Pressure: Sayuri has an enormous amount of spiritual pressure. Being a Visored, she possesses a dual-type spiritual energy, part Shinigami and part Hollow. Her Reiatsu her been honed and refined while training in secret while in her exile to the point it has become near monstrous.
Keen Intellect: Despite her proud, arrogant and cocky attitude, Sayuri has proven to be a very insightful and perceptive woman often taking the enemy by surprise and catching them off guard.
Hollowfication.
Hollow Mask: Sayuri´s hollow mask greatly resembles a snarling, grinning Oni with sharp tusks and big horns, when donning the mask her sclera turn completely black, and his irises become a dark maroon color and her voice becomes distorted, her reiatsu also takes on a more hollow like quality upon activation.
Power Augmentation: While wearing the mask, Sayuri´s Hollow powers supplement her Shinigami powers, giving her a vast increase in both strength and speed.
Cero: Condensing and charging two cero´s along her two wakizashi´s and slashing in an "X" she can fire it in a very wide arc, following the arc of her sword swing fanning out into a large "X" shape. she can also fire it normally from the tips of her swords. It has a deep maroon color.
Bala: Sayuri hardens her Reiatsu along her blades and fires it like a bullet with tremendous speed about 20 times faster than a Cero. Sayuri can fire a barrage of maroon Bala blasts by swinging her Zanpakutō´s around creating a torrent of blasts raining down on her opponent.
Hierro: An subconcious ability Sayuri has almost no control over, hardening her skin to become almost like iron, its an ability that she haven´t really been aware of and its rather weak but further helps her survive drawn out fights, activating in lethal danger.
Enchanted Strength: While wearing her Hollow mask, Sayuri gains greater strength than before, which she uses to physically overwhelm her foes and greatly give her attack more power.
Enchanted Speed: While wearing her Hollow mask, Sayuri is able to move much faster, whichs he uses to overwhelm opponents pummelling and disorienting them.
Enchanted Endurance: With her Hollow mask, Sayuri becomes much more resilient to pain, shrugging off injuries that would otherwise incapacitate her and fighting for much longer. Zanpaktou. Narukami 鳴神 ("Rumbling God") In its sealed state it takes the form of two twin wakizashi swords with deep red handles, its tsuba handguard is the shape of a storm-cloud and its sheath is in a lighter red color with dark cloud patterns on it.
Inner World & spirit: Takes the form of an expansive, dark, cloudy sky that crackles with electricity and from time to time cracks of deafening thunder rings out with bright flashes. Red toori gates and red pillars sticks out of the water that coveres the ground. Narukami´s inner spirit is a gigantic horned ogre towering over the landscape, though it can adjust its size as it pleases, it has deep reddish skin, swelling muscles with a perpetually frowning, angry expression, beady eyes, a jaw filled with sharp teeth and fangs. Through its back muscles is threaded a metal ring in which sits multiple hexagon shaped drums much like Narukami´s shikai and it holds two huge kanabo clubs as drumsticks.
Personality wise its a gruff, violent beast who like nothing more than pounding an opponent to a bloody pulp it is headstrong and proud much like Sayuri which is probably why they are so synched.
Shikai: The release command is Hibike! 響く ("Resound, reverberate") in its Shikai state the two wakizashi´s becomes a matching pair of thick taiko bachi drum-sticks with an oni like head on the end of each stick. Eight flat, hexagon shaped drums also manifests and constantly floats around the user with a mitsudomoe symbol in the middle of each drum constantly sparking with electricity. Being in the shikai state the drum sticks has become more solid and heavy being infused with reishi and reiatsu making them excellent tools for bludgeoning opponents dealing damage that can shatter and crush bones with ease.
Shikai Ability: Each drum can generate and store lightning by beating on it creating thunderbolts and electricity, the more drums beaten the higher ampere and voltage. It can also store electricity from its environment to power up its move and can somewhat control the weather creating dark clouds. Another sub ability of Narukami is to create powerful vibrations in the air via the drums letting her use powerful sound based attacks reminiscent of the rumbling of thunder with a lot of destructive force.
Lightning Techniques.
Ichiko: Inazuma 一鼓: 稲妻 ("First Beat of the War Drum: Flash of Lightning"): Narukami´s most simple and direct technique where by striking a single drum an electric charge builts up and with a flashing light strong enough to blind a person a powerful thunderbolt and slung at an opponent, it has enough amp to grill a person alive in a second and can be boosted by striking more drums and building up charges. Raigen Raikochu 雷幻雷光柱 ("Flash Pillar"): a sub technique of "Inazuma" even more focused on disorienting, blinding and hampering the opponent by creating a flash powerful enough to blind opponents trough closed eyelids and generating a static reiatsu that can make it harder for opponents to sense her, though the technique sees no difference to friend or foe. Niko: Hiraishin 二鼓: 避雷針 ("Second Beat of the War Drum: Lightning-Rod"): A technique in which, after hitting two drums an opponent becomes "marked" after becoming hit by two lightning attacks one from below and one from above creating a Futatsudomoe ("twofold tomoe") mark on thier body, diffusing static charges into an opponents body that acts like lightning rod to all of her other techniques attracting them.
Sanko: Enrai 三鼓: 遠雷 ("Third Beat of the War Drum: Distant Thunder"): A technique in where after hitting three drums Sayuri´s drumsticks gets charged with electricity and lets her create a focused blade of electricity with terrifying cutting power trough vibration, she can also extend and change its shape elongating it to hit an opponent to up to five meters away. Yonko: Bakurai 四鼓: 爆雷 ("Second Beat of the War Drum: Depth Charge"): A technique in where, after striking two of her drums she cloaks herself in electricity to boost her own speed and strength, becoming able to inflict massive damage even from a glancing blow as her body eminates electricity, like her other techniques this can be boosted further by striking more drums however this has an added risk of harming her own body. Nagashi 流し ("Current"): a sub technique of "Bakurai" where the cloak of electricity is released around her in a static discharge that affects the signals in an opponents body making the muscles contract, making them stiff and temporarely make them unable to move.
Goko: Jibashi 五鼓: 磁場死 ("Fifth Beat of the War Drum: Electromagnetic Murder"): A technique in where after hitting five drums Sayuri hits an object with her drumsticks sending electricity through it and zapping an opponent, it can also be infused with electricity acting like a trap/landmind that explode than an opponent touches the object, an added effect is that if the object explode, debri around the blast zone becomes electricly charged pulling into the blast´s center like a magnet.
Rokuko: Raiju Tsuiga 六鼓: 雷獣追牙 ("Sixth Beat of the War Drum: Lightning Beast Tracking Fang"): A technique in where, after hitting six of her drums she summons six beast made of lightning resembling the mythical "Raiju" beast that tracks and follows the target electrocuting targets with their bites or exploding in a surge of electrical energy.
Nanako: Tenmokaikai 七鼓: 天網恢々 ("Seventh Beat of the War Drum: The Inescapable Net of Heaven"): One of Sayuri´s most deadly techniques that can be used both offensively or defensly in where after hitting seven of her drums she creates 7 orbs of lightning that surrounds an opponent before linking multiple arcs of lightning between them like a net becoming like focused lasers that cuts trough opponents. It can also be used as a barrier against opponents.
Hachiko: Yakusa-no-Ikadazuchi 八鼓: 八雷神 ("Eight Beat of the War Drum: God of the Eight Thunders"):Sayuri´s most powerful technique, after beating on all eight drums they start to build up energy at an alarming rate creating sparks and lightning bolts to coil and zig-zack all around the drums, its raw energy affecting the air making it vibrate and makes the cloud darken creating stormclouds. With one final drumming on each drum, they explodes sending eight lightningbolts into the heaven and creating an apparition of the god of thunder Raijin himself before a gigantic thunderbolts slams down from the heavens. While powerful the technique destroys all of the drums and making Sayuri unable to use any lightning attacks before she deactivates her shikai and re:activates it later making it a one-shot trumphcard. Known as the Zanpakuto-less Shingami, is Masaru gifted with great spiritual power and ability to harden body and items with it, allowing him to make even the most menial item into a deadly weapon. Duo his ability for fighting, was he given the position as Warmaster in the academy, and mostly all Shinigamis have crossed their weapon with him. With his unique ability, is his weapon often random items he find for the day, like a mop or a branch, that he make to an very powerful weapon to use on students. While harsh, is his goal simply to empower his students and give them the ability to survive as long as they can in their duty. Rarely showing any emotions, is he deeply affected over the news of his former students passing away, always making him question 'what could I have teached them better?'.

About Fearless and a natural born warrior, is Sonja someone that rose to rank of captain quickly. She is one of very few Shinigamis to have an constant released Shikai, and was one of the youngest in known history to achieve a bankai. With these abilities was it not weird that she challenged previous captain Sawardo, and defeated him. Sonja appear fearsome, and she is, though she have a soft spot for her wife and children in general. She is also very demanding of her Division, not to always succeed but to do their best. There is a mix of respect and fear among the members of Division 7 for their captain, and Sonja take it upon herself to be the leader they deserve. Blunt and isn't one to joke, is she keen to make sure all her underlings achieve their best form, and thus she will often nag at certain people like Nanashi to put more into it.

Name: Yamamoto Sakura Gender: Female Age: 842 years Division: --- Rank: Captain Commander
About One of few Shinigamis that survived the Purge 500 years ago, as Sakura was on a mission in the human world; thus surviving the purge with all other Shinigamis that was there. Returning to the Soul Society of nothingness, did the former Division 4 captain take on the roll as Captain Commander and helped building up Soul Society. Being probably the oldest living spirit, is Sakura a person of great wisdom and kindness, seeking to form peace in Soul Society, something that have been proven to be hard. There have even been multiple attempts to assassinate her over the 500 years since Soul Sociaty was reformed, but so far they failed. Even then, being the target by many, does she hold a deep feeling to protect the 'little ones', and to not let this world ever forget the Soul Society and the people that once existed there.

Name: Hikoma Kusakabe 日下部 彦馬 alias Jii ジイ ("Old Man") Gender: Male, a very old man in fact ohohoho~ Age: 277 maybe? may be even older. Division: 3. Rank: 3th Seat though he hasen´t showed to full extent of his power, he would much rather laze around and be drunk. Appearance: : Jii is an extremely short, elderly, frail looking old man. He has black eyes that are most of the time closed but when opened holds a sly, michivious glint in them. Is growing bald with only the outer rims of his head containing some white and grey colored hair and a few minicule liverspots. He also has a thick white-ish-grey mustache. His limbs are thin and his body is rather scrawny
He wears an standard Shinigami Shihakushou with only a small modification, it has a furry collar around it's neck. Around his waist he bears his Zanpaktou and in his back and chest is a white sash he wears his Jitte.
Equipment: Jii carries a secondary weapon to compliment his zanpaktou as well as his fighting style trying mostly to subdue, disarm and make an enemy submit, he wears a Jitte/Jutte 十手 (Ten Hands) a bladeless baton/sai like weapon with a single hooked prong used for blocking, catching and breaking an opponents blade as well as snagging into the clothes of his opponents to make their libs easier to control.
He has it custom made and equiped with a sort of storm lighter nossle in the tip and the end of the prong to be paired with Jii's Zanpaktou Desui´s alcoholic nature letting him manipulate flames to an degree. It also has has a telescopic, retractable tip for surprise attacks that extends up to a meter in length. JITTE TECHNIQUES.
Jitte: Ranbu 十手: 乱舞 ("Ten Hands: Wild Dance"): A combination of Jii´s drunken fist and his skill with the jitte to unleash a storm of unpredictable, yet precise strikes to opponents weak spots like joints and vital organs to immobalize them and make them flinch, slow down and not be able to fight at 100%.
Jitte: Madara 十手: 斑 ("Ten Hands: Spots/Speckles") In a blinding flurry he extends and retracts the tip of the jitte, thrusting them into his opponent before they can realize what happened. The attacks name comes from the circular "spots" or bruises that is left on the body after the attack.
Jitte: Oren 十手: 黄蓮 ("Ten Hands: Yellow Lotus"): A technique where he blocks and repels a blow with one of his weapons, quickly hooking and disarming an unweary opponent before spinning around and landing a blow to the neck or temple with enough force to knock them off their feet. Jitte: Onigaeshi 十手: 鬼返 ("Ten Hands: Demon´s Return") A counterattack where Jii steps in towards an opponent´s range and using his jitte´s hooked prong, he catches an opponents wrist in the middle of their swing stopping their momentum and twisting the hook and wrist locking it in place while in the same instant unsheathing/swinging his zanpaktou and slashing taking advantage of its small size as well as his own motion to cut deep into the opponent. Jitte: Hoshiwari 十手: 星割り ("Ten Hands: Star Splitter"): A technique intented to cripple, chip, damage or even snap an opponents weapon in which after a few quick exchanges of blows, Jii analyses the opponents blade localising any weak or fragile spots and repeatedly striking those spots with tremendous force.
Jitte: Tenshukaku 十手: 天守閣 ("Ten Hands: Castle Keep"): A defensive technique that´s more of a defensive stance in which Jii can easily react to opponents movements from almost all directions and counter by either hit an opponents wrist or hook them, stopping their momentum or parry away the opponents blade with as little energy as possible. However it roots him on the spot and require quite a bit of focus.
Personality: : He's a very lazy, relaxed, easy going, friendly and laid back person, and most of all: DRUNK. He's almost always carrying a bottle or small keg of alcohol with him, his walk is also very wobbly and he always look like hes going to tip over. He constantly admits that he dislikes fighting, rather talking things over a nice cup or jug of sake, wine or beer and is quite knowledgeable about diffirent alcohol and how they are brewed and enjoyed.
He refers his fellow Shinigami by there first names and does often slur his words, he adresses his superiors, Lieutenant and Captains not by their title but rather as "Paisen" a slang/casual word for "Senpai". However in battle he's rather unpredictable, and can act very cocky, confident, and even arrogantly especially when he is underestimated by apperance but this is mostly to make opponents make more misstakes that he can exploit and he has shown that he hides a more determined, rational, logical and smart side of himeself under his drunk facade, or is it really a facade? Is he more clever, smart and quick witted than he appeares, or is he just a drunk old fool?

Hakuda Master: Jii is an Master of hand to hand combat and is a master of Suiken 酔拳 (Drunken Fist) which is a Bizarre and Eccentric form of martial arts which the user fight under the principle of "The more you drink, the drunker you get, and the stronger you become" and uses unpredictable punches and kicks from wierd angles as well as bizarre movements to confuse and disorient their foes. The more the user drinks and gets drunk their power, speed and unpredictable movements become as they go in a drunken frenzy and uses feints and flexible bizarre movements to their advantage. Jii is much quicker as well as flexible than he seems and his seemingly old body does not hinder him in the least.
Zanjutsu Expert: Jii knows fully well how to handle a sword and is quite skilled with it in a flexible quick display of slashes, thrustes and parries, he was trained from a young age in kendo and is well versed in Nitoryu 二刀流 ("Two Sword Style") making him able to fight with two weapons simultaniously. Jitte Expert: An rather odd, baton & sai like weapon with a hooked prong used by police during the Edo period of japan. Jii has extensive knowlege and expertise with the weapon, knowing how disarm, cause pain, hook and snag opponents .
Hoho Expert: Jii has great control over his Shunpo and can cover an surprisingly large distans with only a few steps and with great speed. While he can´t quite keep up with a master of this art he is quite confident in his speed, this combined with his zanjutsu and jitte skills makes his quite a force to reckon with.
Kido Practicioner: Unlike all the other diciplies that Jii learned during the shinigami Academy, Kido was something that never really stuck that much, allthough not terrible technicly he only know kido upp to number 20 in both Bakudo (Way of Binding) and Hado (Way of Destruction) and even that much is stretching it.
Keen Intellect: Jii can be surprisingly clever at times, seeing through techniques and attacks as well as find enemy weak spots as well as thinking up strategies, plans and schemes on the fly. He is also quite capable of keeping calm and being leveled headed in tight situations not letting panic take over him.
Enchanted Strength: Jii, as a soul being has strength many times that of a normal human and can easily smash rocks and boulders bare handed, combined with his martial arts training can make him quite dangerous up-close or in a situation where he gets disarmed himself.
Enchanted Durability: Jii is also much more durable than a human and can take a lot of punishment despite his frail looking body, not only due to his status as a soul being but also due to daily martial arts training and multiple years studying it. He can handle heavy rocks or debrii falling over him, he can survive attacks that would easily kill a normal man.
Enchanted Reflexes: Jii have incredible reflexes and can react much quicker than any human and with his martial arts/Suiken training he is incredibly flexible and has high reaction time. _________________________________________________________________________________ ZANPAKTOU
Shikai (If any): Deisui takes the form of a shirasaya ("White scabbard" a sword with a wooden hilt and scabbard with no tsuba handguard) styled Kodachi, a short-sword where that is not quite a katana´s lenght nor quite a tanto ("dagger") its a perfekt balance between the two and its used primarily for defense. It has a dull reddish color over the wood with a greyish silver blade with a wave like edge. Inner World And Shikai Spirit: Deisui takes form of a moonlit field full of blossoming Sakura trees and diffrent fruit bearing trees and countless jars and containers of diffrent alcohols scattered all around, the entire area is full of sweet, mellow and sour smells and being there for too long may make you drunk and trap you there forever, not that Jii really minds~
Right in the middle of this field is a ginormous Sakê bowl in which the zanpaktou spirit rest, it takes form of a young, bustous woman with pale fair skin, short blue-green hair resembling a bob cut which covers her reddish orange eyes. She wears a hat resembling a chipped sakazuki drinking cup with some kind of symbol on it and a rope tied around the top. Beneath her hat, parts of her hair are darkened forming the pattern of a ring with a circle in the middle. She wears a large cape with a symbol on the back, tied together with a rope.
Personality wise she is quite flirty and chatty with her shinigami partner, and while she would call herself "lazy" disliking conflict and would rather kick back and enjoy untold amounts of alcohol she does not mind lending jii a hand every now and then and does care deeply for him.
Activation: after lifting the blade pointing towards the users mouth like its going to drink the blade and uttering the command "Nome" 呑め (Drink), Deisui 泥酔 ("Drunken Stupor, Dead Drunk) The zanpaktou shrinks and transforms into a small Saké gourd with a red cloth around its "waist" that fits into its users hand as a hilt and it can form a sharp pressurized blade out of the liquid inside it. Ability: Anything struck by Desui´s blade goes into a drunken stupor, their senses becomes dull and their vision blurry and they loose their sense of direction and balance. It can also control its own internal liquid pressure according to it´s users will as to spray them with alcohol in order to only neutralize its opponents or cut them apart with it´s pressurized razor sharp blade that can cut through steel.However, while Desui´s ability is indeed strong it can´t produce alcohol infinetly and can be overused leaving it unable to produce any alcohol for a while, the trees and fruits inside its inner world wither away and pots, vessels and jugs become empty leaving Desui to be forced to grow new fruit trees and grain inside its inner world to make more alcohol which takes time. Suirōdan 酔牢弾 ("Drunken Prison Orb"): One of Jii´s most basic, simple and reliable techniques with his shikai. It shoots a ball of Desui´s alcohol at the opponent, which surrounds their head. This then intoxicates the opponent, that can either knock out the opponent or kill them. More than one of these balls can be shot towards the opponent but this drains the gourd´s reserves. Ririshiizan 凛々しい斬 ("Gallant, Awe-inspiring Beheading"): A technique in which Jii makes a swing usually aimed at the neck and in an instant pressurizes the alchohol within Desui´s gourd extending it like a blade out of the mouth of the gourd in a split second just quick enough to swiftly behead an opponent. Ryūsuiben 流水鞭 ("Running Liquor Whip"): A technique in which Jii expels a third of the alcohol inside Desui´s gourd, extending and forming it into a long whip shape that he lashes at an opponent, while not very powerful it it useful for keeping an opponent at a distance and can be split into multiple tendrils to ensnare and bind opponents. Another useful trait is that the whip is still attached to the gourd and can be retracted into it to prevent loosing precious alcohol. Ryūsuisō 流水槍 ("Running Liquor Spear"): A technique in which Jii swirls and rotates alcohol around his arm in a drill/spear shape at high speed before delivering a thrust attack. An attack Jii dislike using, not only because its very direct, but also becomes it drains Desui of a lot of alcohol and therefore is very risky to use, still its one of his strongest offensive techniques with a lot of destructive power. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Kokouki 湖香器 ("Lake's Essence Vessel") Desui is able to create various drinks that have different effects on the user, allies or opponents when consumed or absorbed by them. he liquors powers cannot not be combined with each other, but their effects can be strengthened at the risk of incurring damaging and severe side effects.
Kokouki: Sanbau Shiyu 三忘酒 ("Three Lapses Saké"): A special kind of Saké created by Desui that affects ones memory when struck by its liquid blade or splashed by its content. It creates small, temporary lapses in an opponents memory disorienting and confuses the opponent as their memory becomes hazy and hard to recall. Its effect only lasts for a moment or when Desui´s zanpaktou is sealed once again, also it can´t be used together with another type of liquor that effects an opponents.
Kokouki: Yonsei Shiyu 四静酒 ("Four calms Liquor"): A liquor that affect the user or an ally, a soothing, crisp alcohol that brings a pleasent feeling of calm and inner peace. It helps one focus and remain calm in the most stressful and chaotic situations. Its effect lasts for 4 minutes and can´t be combined with another strenghtening/self buffing liquor.
Kokouki: Rokubō Shiyu 六防酒 ("Six Protections Liquor"): A liquor with very dry, slightly bitter taste of nuts, almonds and fruit pits that grants a numbness to pain while also imbuing the drinker´s body with some of Desui´s own reishi that´s mixed in with the drink making the drinker more robust and able to take more punishment for a short duration.
Kokouki: Nanakō Shiyu 七強酒 ("Seven Strengths Liquor"): A liqour with a very hot, strong spicy flavour that burns in the throat, gullet and the pit of the stomache. The heat burns inside granted the drinker a sudden burst of strength and stamina boosting and adding to their natural strength for a short duration.
Kokouki: Gyaku Nanakō Shiyu 逆七強酒 ("Reverse Seven Strengths Liquor"): A liquor with the opposite effect of the Seven Strenths liquor, while the taste remains the same, instead the heat from the drink overwhelms those affected, sapping away their strength and leaves them in total agony.
Kokouki: Hatsusoku Shiyu 八速酒 ("Eight Speed Liquor"): A liquor with a very sour yet, fruity flavour that ivigorates the leg muscles as well as speeding up the brain signals increasing the drinkers reflexes and speed for a short duration.
Kokouki: Gyaku Hatsusoku Shiyu 逆八速酒 (Reverse Eight Speed Liquor"): A liquor with the opposite effect of the Eight Speed Liquor while the taste remains the same, instead of increasing the affected speed and reflexes their sense of equilibrium and balance becomes messed up and their legs starts to feel like that of a crawling, slimy slugs.

Techniques together with his jitte. Hiken: Kaen 秘剣 禍焔 (Secret Sword: Calamity Flame) Jii´s most basic technique where he set alight Desui´s alcohol to produce a jet of flames, However the intensity of the flame can be adjusted by manipulating the lighter nozzle as well as the internal pressure of Desui´s gourd can result in a suprising amount of destruction.
Hiken Shiranui 秘剣 不知火 (Secret Sword: Unknown Fire/Phosphorescent Foam) Jii soaks the opponent clothing in concentrated alcohol vapors and with just a little spark from the lighter nozzle sets them ablaze in intense blue flames, it takes some time to set up the technique to the point where the opponent is almost imidiately charred by the flames.
Hiken: Hi no Maki 秘剣 火の巻 (Secret Sword: Coil of Fire) A move where Jii slashes simultaneously with Desui and his Jitte to produce a large amount of flames and by manipulating Desui´s alcohol makes the flames wrap around, bend and coil around an opponent, entrapping them in a cage of flames. Hiken: Onidōrō 秘剣鬼灯籠 (Secret Sword: Demon Lantern) A move where Jii makes a swiping motion with Desui creating several balls of concentrated alcohol that is set alight by his jitte, while each ball is no bigger than a baseball they are sent out with enough force to be simillar to a cannonball and as they hit a target they explode violently in a massive fireball, they can also be left floating in the air like landmines though the alcohol is very quickly burned up if they are not detonated.
Hiken: Rekka Daizantou 秘剣 烈火大斬刀 (Secret Sword: Raging Fire Great Slicing Sword) A very powerful technique were both his weapons are pushed to their limits, creating a large, destructive blade of intense flames with intense destructive power. However such an attack is extremely taxing on Desui and might result in it being unable to produce alcohol for some time or damage it, making the technique a double edged sword. Appearance: Despite his name Nanashi is someone you would notice quite easily. A tall and lanky figure with bright pink, shoulder-length hair. His bangs are always covering his eyes, together with the beanie he usually wears. His sense of clothing is quite modern for a shinigami, appearing mostly in a simple black tank top and a pair of pants. If pressured by his Lieutenant or Captain he will wear the standard shinigami uniform. He is almost never seen without an assortment of rings and wristbands.
Abilities Those who have fought with and against Nanashi know one thing; He is considered above average at almost any form of combat. Although only really remarkable when it comes to swordsmanship he can keep pace with most Shinigami in Kido, Hakuda and Shunpo without much effort. Expert at almost everything and master at nothing. His versatility is his greatest strength.
Swordsmanship - Nanashi is not only amazing with a standard katana, he has the ability to fight with almost any weapon at the same level, something necessary thanks to the way his shikai works.
Kido - He doesn't know every spell, but the few he does know he can fire off with uncanny speed and strength. Shunpo - Capable of keeping up with most Captains except the ones known for their speed, he usually moves entirely on instinct and sometimes very randomly to confuse his opponents.
Shikai: Akugyou - When released, Nanashis katana shatters and reforges into one of seven different forms. He has no control over which form it takes and will have to quickly adapt to whatever new fighting style he will have to use. The forms are as follows; Wrath; A huge, black greatsword bigger than Nanashi himself. This sword envelops its wielder in an aura of reiatsu that attracts the attention of all nearby enemies, provoking them to attack Nanashi. The bigger the difference is between Nanashi (either in numbers, size, general skill etc) and his opponent the more power Nanashi himself is granted in return. Name: Jesse D Taiho (Real name is Kin Madarame) Gender: Male Age: 254 years Division: 3 Rank: Lieutenant Appearance: Even with his age, does Jesse appear to be no older than his 30's. A tall and muscular built man, dressed in black jeans and sleeveless leather jacket if he get to choose. If not, then he is dressed in the standard shinigami outfit. Duo his lackluster discipline about the cloth code, is it often you will hear certain high rank complain to him about it. His skin is that of well tanned, as a person that easily get color in the sun, and over his face and parts of his body are scars visible. The shoulder long hair is dark blue, almost black, giving it an almost oily color. The eyes are crimson red and give him slightly sinister expression, though he most of the time is pretty laid back. Equipment: In a gun holster at his right side, is his zanpakuto that is in form of an antique revolver. He also have a golden coin he usually flip when not sure what to do. Background: Born Madarame Kin in the warring Soul Society, did he learn early to be tough and survive no matter what and he saw his fair share of wars. To survive, did he not hesitate to think outside of the box and cast away old traditions for new ideas. It was something that influenced him as he created the Taiho gang, and took the name Jesse D Taiho, inspired by stories from unknown souls he met along the way. He did well as a gang leader, though in the end fell by the hands of shinigamis and he became a prisoner. Had it not been for a very lenient captain that saw good in him, would he most likely been executed. Instead, did he become a shinigami, and after many years climbed to the rank of lieutenant, something he is pretty glad with, and he is happy to see Soul Society being calmer these days, even if he can grunt about it being 'to calm'. Personality: At first sight would you think Jesse is an total hardass that love to destroy people aaaand... he can be. When needed will he be ruthless and brutal, to survive and take out his enemy no matter what; those that have seen him in serious battle are often surprised how brutal he can be, with no honor in how he do his battles. Though most know him for being a laidback and pretty chill guy, that often stroll in late to meetings or fall asleep under one, and often get chewed by higher ups for his lack of discipline. Yet he keeps his eyes on people, as if not to let anyone to close to his life, and he keep his secrets tight to himself. Abilities Beginner Swordsman - Barely hold a sword, and when he do he mostly use it like a metal stick with only skills of his well trained physique. Master Gunslinger - Unlike his swordplay, is he marksman probably one, if not the greatest, in Gotei 15. He with ease can track and shoot down even smallest things at long range, and the harder trickshot, the better he makes it as he love the challenge. He is also incredible quick on the draw, allowing him to react in an instant if needed. Enhanced Vision - Jesse have a vision far stronger than normal, and when focus can see 1 mile away, as well give him ability to see in the dark. If he apply reiatsu to his eyes, does it grant him an 'Reiatsu Vision', allowing him to see Reiatsu sources through certain walls and mists etc, though it cause him great headache so he use it sparingly. Hakuda Combatant - While he is horrible with the sword, is he somewhat decent hand-to-hand combat, and usually fight with fist and gun if enemies get to close to him. Though if he get to decide, would he never need to do this. Shunpo Expert - Fast and agile, is he always ready in a sudden burst move to make distance between him and his opponent. As a sniper does he need to keep his distance to work, and have trained his shunp to an expert level. Name: Sabakuwashi
Form: Unlike most Zanpakutos that is that of a blade, is Jesse's formed as an old western revolver. Black in color with a white cylinder and grip, is it heavy and cumbersome for those not used to it. There is a white flower pattern along the barrel of the gun, and a small keychain with a bear hang from the grip. The gun can be loaded with kido spells that Jesse charge, six at the time as to fill the cylinder and can only be reloaded when empited on reiatsu. The basic bullet is just pure reiatsu and is quick and easy to load, while specific kido spells can be loaded, though take longer time to load before he can use it.
Shikai: Activates by spinning the gun chamber and declare "Draw Sabakuwashi!". The gun then seemingly explodes to fragments, that instantly surround his right arm, covering it in metal and mechanical parts, turning his hand into a large cannon. With it does it increase his firepower and range tremendously, though can only shoot a shot per 10 seconds. What makes this so powerful however, is that anyone that been hit by his gun before, will now have a white flower showing on the body where they been hit. This make the bullets of his shikai act like homing-missiles, making it suddenly much harder to avoid.
Bankai: Not yet achieved.
